Changes to my Study Programme

Topic: Changes to my Study Programme

As you can see, today's topic is the changes I ould like to have for my study programme. And to be honest, I can think about five aspects: the curriculum, workload & length of studies, faculty facilities, use of technology and teaching methods.

First of all, about the curriculum of subjects I have to study, I can say that I would like to have more chances of getting into classes that have a focus on visuality and media or graphic design since that's my area of interest. And, in terms of workload & length of studies, I think it's necessary not to overload studnets with work by asking for extra asynchronous work, since we also need time and rest for ourselves.

If we talk about the use of technology, I think that several of my classmates would like to have even more modern yechnology in terms of the use of machinery such as 3D printers and tools to prototype objects. But when it comes to teaching methods, I have nothing to add.

But I would like to see some changes at the faculty facilities level, specially in the bathrooms and classrooms. We know that since the pandemic began, and after almost two years of online classes, the capacity at face-to-face classes has been greatly reduced to prevent the infection. But, on the one hand, this has led to only two people being allowed to enter a bathroom at the same time and the rest of them have to line up, which can be pretty uncomfortable if you really need to go to the bathroom, right? Secondly, this has also caused several courses to be divided into two or more rooms, which complicates communication between a teacher ans the students if they have questions and are in different rooms... In short, it would be great if there were more bathrooms and the classrooms were bigger. That's it.
