My favorite show ever

Blog post 3:

Topic: The best show ever.

KISS is an American hard-rock band formed in New York City in 1973, well known for its members' face paint and extravagant outfits.

Having said this, I can say that my favorite show ever was KISS in 2015, at a world tour for their 40th anniversary as a band. This show was set for April 14th, at Movistar Arena.

The day of the show, the place was full of excited people, most of them with their faces painted in reference to their favorite band members. But something else was quite peculiar and special about this situation . . . most of these people had brought with them their families, especially their younger children or siblings. In fact, I was also there with with both of my parents and my aunt.

All went well until here . . .  Thirty minutes before the start of the show, my dad and I decided to go in to save the best possible positions to enjoy the show, and my mom stayed outside the building waiting for my aunt, since she said she was late. But here is the worst (and funniest part of the night) . . . The  time of the truth arrived, a huge black flag with the band's name fell on the stage, and a huge show of lights, fire and pyrotechnics began. At that moment, my dad, euphoric, yells at me "your mom will be so furious for missing this!!" Well, as he said, she arrived with my aunt, furious, twenty minutes later.

Putting that aside, the absolute best moments of the whole night were the ones were the members would feature fire breathing, smoking guitars, shooting rockets, levitating drum kits and, of course, more pyrotechnics. It was absolutely shocking.

Would you like to go to this kind of show?
