The best holidays ever

Topic: The best holidays ever.
The best holidays I've ever had happened in February of 2020, just before the arrival of COVID-19 pandemic in Chile. This idea came about thanks to my dad, he thought it would be a good idea to do something different and go on a little family vacation somewhere we had never been before. In this case, the city of Puerto Montt, at the south of Chile.
Since at that time the plane tickets were not exactly cheap (and that it was just me and my parents), we decided to travel by car and make several stops to visit other cities or towns along the way, such as: Talca, Concepción, Talcahuano or Temuco.
After a full day of travel, we arrived in Puerto Montt and looked for a hostel to be able to stay a week and visit the surrounding cities. During the next days, we visited lots of the most popular places in Puerto Varas and Chiloé, such as historical buildings, churches, museums and restaurants. In addition, we traveled by boat and by ferry to different points where our car could not reach.
It may have been a long and exhausting journey, but the fact that we had traveled as a family and had the opportunity to spend so much time together made it worth it. Besides, to guide my dad along the way with a map was absolute fun. Those, without a doubt, were the best holidays ever.

Glad that you could have vacations before covid.
ResponderEliminarIt must have been a very entertaining trip :) I like southern Chile too.
ResponderEliminarThe churches of southern Chile are very old. That makes that they need a lot of support to stay up. after all, They are part of the history of Chile
